Bradbury Building

Inspected v99 — café brick face and historical door

The documented café-facing wall now has a first-pass whitewashed brick treatment around the historical timber door. Its receiving masonry, clear opening and original mesh/material preservation checks pass; the close and corrected room views are inspected. Roof-shape comparison is active but unpromoted.

Project update

What’s still unresolved
  • Café fit-out is a qualified 2016–2017 reconstruction in a dated footprint, not a surveyed current interior.
  • Brick bond, palette, wash and relief remain cleaner, more regular estimates—not exact distressed masonry; door carving, grain and hardware remain unfinished.
  • Counter/canopy dimensions and joint tolerances remain estimates; fine columns, lighting, machines and cold bar are incomplete.
  • Storefront heights, hardware, joints, font and recess are estimates; wider Third Street glazing remains unfinished.
  • Retained passage finish is stepped; no continuous sweep, accessibility or seamless street-grade claim.
  • Exact carved capitals, foliage and lettering outlines remain unfinished.
  • Matched-camera roof comparison exposes a flatter/lower model than the later aerial; fitted dimensions remain uncertain and no roof changes are integrated.
  • Private rooms and ceilings remain incomplete; scoped mesh/ray checks are not whole-model certification.
  • No new export, PC render or Unreal-readiness claim.
